Our Team

  • Kathryn Jordan - Founder + Director

    Kathryn has been working with children and families for the past 17 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, her master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, and most recently received her doctorate from Rocky Mountain University.

  • Amy Rexrode - Assistant Director for Upper School

    Amy graduated from Winthrop University and later attended Virginia Tech, where she received her MBA. After spending five years working with HR, Amy served in ministry for over 15 years and has taught students of all ages for over 10 years.

  • Ragan McDerment - Assistant Director for Lower School

    Ragan graduated from the University of South Alabama. After five years in youth ministry and eight years in the medical field, Ragan has spent the past six years in homeschool education.

  • Amy Bagwell - Media and Communications

    Amy graduated from Anderson University in 2010. With fifteen years of work experience in church and school environments, she has worked in Communications for the past nine years.

  • Devri Coney - Kindergarten

    Devri graduated from Southern Wesleyan University. This is her ninth year teaching.

  • Keleigh Frazier - Kindergarten + PE

    Kelieigh received her elementary education degree from Clemson University and attended Anderson University for graduate school. She has been teaching kindergarten for five years and has worked with children for 10 years.

  • Layne Ezell - 1st Grade

    Layne graduated from Anderson University. This is her tenth year teaching.

  • Cullen Jennings - 2nd Grade

    Cullen graduated from Anderson University. She has spent time as a stay-at-home mom and six years as a teacher in elementary education.

  • Tara Nickles - 3rd Grade + Life Skills

    Tara graduated from North Greenville University. This is her third year teaching in elementary education.

  • Caroline Martinez - Upper + Lower Math and Science

    Caroline recently graduated from Anderson University. This is her first year teaching.

  • Kimberly Hudson - Lower School ELA

    Kimberly graduated from Piedmont University. She has been teaching for thirty years.

  • Railey Banasky - Upper + Lower ELA

    Railey completed her undergraduate degree at Anderson University. She also graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Railey has spent six years teaching and ten years working with children in some professional capacity.

  • Cassi Henry - Upper School Bible + Lower School History

    Cassi graduated from Anderson University. Cassi has worked with students for years, but this is her first year in the classroom.

  • Ashley Mattison - Lower School Math

    Ashley attended Winthrop University for her undergraduate degree and received her Master’s from Clemson University. This is her seventh year teaching math.

  • Madeline Johnson - Upper + Lower History and ELA

    Madeline graduated from Pensacola Christian College. This is her fifth year teaching.

  • Lauren Anderson - Upper School History + Geography

    Lauren received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She went on to receive her master’s from the University of Georgia. Lauren has been teaching for about twenty years.

  • Kira Barnett - Upper School History

    Kira recently graduated from Anderson University. This is her first year teaching.

  • Hannah Hanson - Upper School Bible

    Hannah received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown College. She began educating her children at home in 1999 and has been teaching in some capacity for the past 25 years.

  • Krista Huff - Upper School Spanish

    Krista graduated from Trident Technical College but learned Spanish through family, travel, and life experience. This is her first year teaching.

  • Allison Jones - Upper School ELA

    Allison recently graduated from Anderson University and is working towards her master’s. This is her first year teaching.

  • Josh Karpus - Upper School Computer Science

    Josh is nearing graduation from Anderson University with a degree in Computer Science. This is his first year teaching.

  • Lydia Moyer - Upper School English

    Lydia has received degrees from Stetson University, Clemson University, and Nova Southeastern University. This is her 34th year teaching.

  • Lindsey Norris - Upper School Science

    Lindsey graduated from Georgia Southern University. She started teaching in 2002 and has taught in and out of the classroom for over 12 years.

  • Carmen Oberstar - Upper School Math

    Carmen received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University. She has taught in a classroom for 12 years and 20 years homeschooling and teaching co-op classes.

  • Amy Scaletta - Upper School Math

    Amy graduated from South Dakota State University, as well as Luther Seminary. She has been teaching for 13 years.

  • Susie Spainhour - Upper School Sign Language

    Susie received her from M.ED Columbia College, a BA from University of Cincinnati, and an from Associates Spartanburg Technical College. Susie has been an interpreter for 25 years.

  • Amanda White - Upper School Digital Photography

    Amanda graduated from the University of South Carolina. She has been a photographer for ten years and has taught for five years.

  • Jordan Evans - Music

    Jordan graduated from Anderson University. He has been teaching music for six years.

  • Minnie Jones - Preschool + Enrichment

    Minnie attended Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She has worked with an array of students. From college to alternative students, special education, and kindergarten. She currently cares for our teacher’s preschool-age children.
